I used to own a popular club called The Angry Ant. After I got involved with dealing land full time and did not have the time to devote to the club, I closed the club and kept a small part of the sim to open a small freebie area with alot of help from my close friend Bella. I wanted the kind of place I could not find when I was a new player. The whole basis behide freebie paradise is to have a place where a new player could go to get QUALITY freebies, and not just end up alot of junk. The rule of thumb for items that get placed out has always been to take a good look at it. If it's something that we would still wear now, or use it's something thats good enough to distribute to the community.

I feel as if alot of newbie places are filled with items that are junk and only passed along because the creators don't feel as if its good enough for the general public or to sell. We have been lucky enough to get in many great designers like Wilted Rose, Grendel's Children, and more. People seem to enjoy the area and the items within, so I feel the original goal was met and exceeded. In a few weeks I will move it to a new section of one of my islands, and expand it a bit.

Freebie Paradise is non profit and I consider it my contribution back to the community for my success in land dealings and my love of second life.
