Verve Financial Services, the first truly full service investment management and business consulting firm in Second Life is now operational.
Founded by Redd Oconnell and set up to help those who want to take part in the virtual equity markets of SL but want someone with the education and background to handle their funds safely manage those funds for them.
All Verve funds will remain within the markets, thus no funds will ever be pulled, except for transfer from one virtual stock exchange to another virtual stock exchange, as such we are operating until a fully vested management system which results in a very liquid state, thus any withdraws of non-exchange traded funds can be done easily (we may need up to 48 hours, due to personal schedules to complete any withdraws requested, however most of the time we will strive to process such transactions within 12 hours, and even quicker when I'm online).
While all exchange traded funds will be even more liquid as you can simply sell your investment on the open market.
We will, like the real-world ETF's, have a similar system that will provide pricing correction to those investment product's share prices (based off of the NAV (Net Asset Value) of the assets held by that product fund) as well as allowing for supply and demand shifts via an "open-ended" system that all real-world ETF's offer (other than some specialized ones, such as UIT's which are "closed-ended" and time-limited trusts and thus are not covered via this mechanism that we will be utilizing).
Verve Financial Services has submitted to list five ETF (Exchange traded Fund) IPO's on ACE, each with its own focus and strategy, as well as one UIT (Unit Investment Trust- a specialized type of closed-ended and short-term ETF) that is focused such that it is ideal for anyone who wants a steady dividend income generator, all of which will be going through the IPO process starting with the next few days.
We also have 6 Mutual Funds that we are making available, each also with their own focus and strategy for those who are not interested in ETF's.
Likewise we also offer Managed Personal Investment Accounts for those who have a fair bit of Lindens and are interested in having Verve Financial Services manage their investment funds directly.
Thus taking the burden of watching the market off of your shoulders, since we are already monitoring them closely in managing the other products mentioned.
With the founder, Redd Oconnell, also being an experienced real world entrepreneur, we are offering both management and financial consulting services as well within the Second Life economy.
VFS also has about 20 more investment products currently planned to be released and made publicly available over the next 6 months (waiting to hear back from the other exchanges regarding listing Index ETF's for their exchanges, which are our next priority for release), in addition to several more that are in the planning stages.
