M&M Creations have moved to their own Island Sims and now bring you more than ever in a setting designed to help you find the best available content for your own sims
M&M Creations is the main shop where all boxes with sculpts maps can be found. In the back M&M Scenery Screens and the living screens. A wall with particles and a full permissions Texture-vendor. A large part of the store is filled with furniture and landscaping objects, bridges, Cherubs, cottages, caves, animals and lights. A modest shoeshop and their sculpt maps and 10’s Publishing and bookshop. To visit all parts like the swamp, Highlands, Fairy-lane or the forest, you can start walking and take your time to see and listen. Or go to the main TP area where teleport posts will take you where you wish to go around the sims. The TP-system in this botanical park, where most items are home-made and for sale, can bring you on all most important parts of M&M. Items for every avatar in Second Life, costumer service, freebees, small gifts, relaxation, activities and advice. M&M and Trees are a fine combination, in real-life working and living as much as possible in nature in which we find .. trees. "As soon as we entered SecondLife, we found the most wonderful Not-Possible-In-RealLife 'parks, gardens, rough nature, fantasy- & fairy and botanical reserves'." Not long after being here, they bought some land and 10 & Marcthur Goosson decided to keep it as natural as they could. The wish and process in creating imaginary nature took some time and is still growing. M&M Trees has developed from 10's FlowerShop. The more sculpted shapes Marcthur creates the more inspiration 10 can find. Next to real-lifes inspiration she mixes up the two. First pure flowers then plants followed. Not long after; flowerlights, huge complex plants, low-prim flowers Finally the trees, corsages, Bridel-Series and again trees. M&M wanted to rez all creations and trees need space. Months of hard work followed and it has now found it's final shape. For a shop the park is huge, it takes time to see it all. All kinds of animals, sounds and 'twinkles' can distract the visitor. The swamp is wet and coulourful here you can find all those tropical delights and such fantastic trees and so much more! Shrubs, small trees, fantasy trees, petal & leaves-furniture, huge trees or just beautifull lights and lanes of trees. The most central point must be the circle of standing stones this is also where you will find the teleports to other areas. Who are M&M? They were born on the 27th of January 2007. Just like all newbees teleporting a lot and camping for some lindens. They were overwhelmed by all creativity of others and SecondLifes possibilities. So Marcthur decided to buy some land; 4000m2 was a fine start. On the ancient mainland sim Montsoreau. After a few weeks the couple is out of prims for their ‘natural home" so more land was bought on the same sim. Bit by bit they bought the sim, it took a year to collect the sim and their park ‘MysteryLand’ grew everyday. The parts they hadn’t landscaped, invited tenants to join their fantasy ‘Mysteryland’. One part was called ‘Mysticland’, with the dark sides of fantasy. It is an everlasting changing place where you can get lost the second time you visit, it might have changed… The usual prims seemed to be getting pretty boring to work with, so Marcthur started to create sculpted shapes, after he read about the implementation of this new feature of SL. 10 could use the sculpties as well and with her natural style she started to create fantasy flowers. With a huge amount of rare shapes, sculpted building parts and a thousand ideas, they opened a little shop. After some real life travels they had collected some beautiful pictures of nature. Being sick of ugly views from the neighbours in-world, Marcthur got the idea of creating privacy screens on large flat prims. And a small first success followed. 10 textured a lot of the sculpted petals and enlarged her little flowershop. Including the boxes with sculpt maps to share the shapes with other creative builders and designers. While Marcthur is building, 10 discovers the printing press of THiNC to create books. A great chance to learn about texturing and creating them herself. 10’s Publishing was soon a fact, publishing greeting-cards, catalogues, novels and books based on in-world second-life. Soon the shops were too small for all they created. Most of Montsoreau was landscaped and occupied by nature and tenants. So they found a way out, waiting for a chance to expand outside the sim. Soon a part of the sim next to Montsoreau, Seyanforth, was for sale and the big move could start. A re-organization of a month, suddenly they could make a brand new start. With the help of friends in-world the were able to create a open air mall with each category of items having its own shop. Now comes the next evolution the Double MM sims and a lot of reorganisation to make it easier to find your way around and show the content to its fullest extent. I have never found anywhere in world that makes or allows you to create so many sculpted objects, this is the place to go for not only inspiration but also for the original sculpt maps that you can use to create your own content.
